Try and wear what you think looks good on you.

3) Don’t complain – remember that you are a guest and not a customer. You need to appreciate every little thing that your hosts do for you and not point out the flaws. You are attending a happy occasion, so forget about your worries and enjoy what you can.

4) If you must decline, do it with succinctly and respectfully – If you can’t attend because of financial reasons or whatever, you have to decline without giving your whole life story.

The couple is inviting you to join their celebration, so you shouldn’t do anything to bring anyone’s spirits down. Decline respectfully and if you can, offer a gift as a show of good faith.

5) Read up – once you’ve accepted an invitation, the best thing you can do to learn about destination wedding etiquette is read. There are a lot of resources you can use to learn about various customs and cultures. The internet also serves as a home to lots of people whom you could talk to and exchange information with.
